Just about a year ago I noticed that time flies, so I'm trying to savour every minute of it.
I’m currently studying French phylology in uni. But my days are usually spent sewing, playing instruments and entertaining my friends and people around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was that kid, that watched beautiful BBC documentaries about nature and animals and thought that 15 years later they would be traveling around the world exploring safaris in Africa or the mountains in the Himalayas...
Later I sort of lost my hope...
Anyways, this urge of adventure in still in my heart and I would love to explore. Not only the marvelous places and nature’s miracles but also the beautiful people and the experiences of others.
As I don’t have my own place at the moment, I can’t host anyone. So the main purpose of couchsurfing for me right now is to surf!

MUSIC

I love indie/folk/traditional music. But I never restrict myself to a certain genre.
My favorite artists include Tom Rosenthal, Salvador Sobral, Ben Howard, Alexi Murdoch, Johnny Flynn.
It’s funny, they are all men...
I also listen to a lot of traditional music, like true old lithuanian folk, appalachian folk, old religious music, stuff like that..

MOVIES

I would love to be a film buff, but I pretty much get interested in movies only in the Oscar season, and forget them in the summer...
Regardless of that, my favorites are: Silence, Call Me By Your Name, The Intouchables, Matilda, The Lobter.

BOOKS

I used to read a lot, but now I don’t. 5 years ago my favorite book was Anne Frank’s Diary. But I haven’t read in such a long time, I don’t even know any more..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have hidden my singing talents from my parents for 18 years. And I’m still hiding it, while I go performing at different events. I’m basically Hannah Montana.

I wrote this down, and understood that this isn’t amazing, it’s just sad and stupid. My parents are good people...

One day this is going to say “Sewed my own wedding dress” or something similar...

I could teach you some traditional lithuanian folk songs or some other music related stuff.

I would love to learn french or playing different instruments or how to cook the best traditional dish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could sing a few of my songs, and cook a tasty dinner :)
