ABOUT ME

I own a property management/investment business (in New Zealand) and before that an IT company which did web-development. That said, I'm probably a better musician than a programmer! I used to teach music to kids (flute, bass, guitar) also sing, write and play drums. Also have a passion for dancing, Modern Jive - if your know your dance styles, I teach that too! I've recently got into the Latin dancing too. Salsa, Bachata and Zouk.

I've done more surfing than hosting. But I have welcomed surfers into my home on the odd occasion

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in Thailand, Indonesia, East Timor, Canada, USA and Sydney, Australia. Hosted a few times at my place in Auckland, New Zealand.

Travelled solo around the world. Did an urban escape and evasion course - I know how to pick handcuffs, get out of anything you can tie me in, defeat attack dogs, fake IDs, lock picking. Basically if it sounds illegal I probably know how to do it. No, I'm not a criminal! That stuff is just fun ok?
