We are three - me - Lija, my husband Miķelis and our baby Krišs.
I and Krišs spend most of our days at home, Miķelis - at work. I'd say we are quite simple people. We don't have big expectations and we learn to take things as they are. We enjoy good humor, to learn about new topics, to discover cooking nuances and to go hiking.

I've had my years of traveling, couch surfing and living in different countries. Now it's not so easily done anymore, but there is a couch. When I was young, moving from one place to another, I dreamed how I'll open my doors to travelers one day. I'd also like to show my son that the world is bigger than it seems

We enjoy to watch independent movies. It's good if it leaves you thinking.
Well, books. Miķelis enjoys reading about food, history or politics. Krišs enjoys beautiful picture books of animals. And I like good novels, but it also could be a book of sociology of gardens.

It's always nice to learn a new recipe. To learn about your country, history, politics, culture.
