it´s funny to hear what other people say about me. when they tell me...

for example:
- Everytime i see you, you´re smiling or laughing.
(i´m unable to refrain)

- Still waters run deep.
(Thanks! i also like that new ability of mine. I had phases when I was outgoing and liked to take centre stage. After that I changed to a very quiet person and only listened to other people and also to myself. Now I can be extravert or introverted, depending on my mood and the situation.)

PHILOSOPHY

i´m a modern flower child :D and finally live my idea of free love. i have to find out if it will work for a long term, maybe i´m some decades too late...

i´m also very uncomplicated, spontaneously and probably one of the most positive thinking and bright-minded creatures on this planet! outgun me, if you can!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

wow, such a cheap way to travel! how could i resist :D

i started couch surfing when i lived in cologne. well, actually i´ve been couch surfing all my life at friends´ places :D
i signed up here to share the amazing view over cologne from 18th level of a students residence :)

i not only enjoy hosting and surfing, but meeting people for drinks, sports and more. due to the singapore cs community i´m now addicted to playing ultimate frisbee!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i was welcomed by foreign people and left as friends :)

what i love about visitors is, that they make me see my "wellknown" environment with new eyes and bring thousand little pieces of the places they´ve been to my living room!

Interests

i´m interested in spirituality, meditation and healing.
my hobbies are massage, yoga, cooking - after six years of being vegetarian, i finally live vegan! :D

i also like sports like wakeboarding, cycling, playing frisbee and table soccer.

guess, what else?!
i love travelling! yeah, really! you too?
i travel alone, with friends or with youth camps - i was participant, but i´m too old now :( so i became a teamer :) wich is even more fun!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

come on, just pick one!

many of you can´t decide for one story, but i do:
it was a very impressive experience to travel in march from pune, india to istanbul, turkey.
why?
because they had more than 30°C in india and i was hoping for spring and just a little bit of sun in turkey, but i came to istanbul with snow, stormy winds and a temperature felt like -5°C.
my first walk brought me to the hamam (turkish sauna) and the weather outside made it one of the most enjoyable experiences in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

i did an apprenticeship as goldsmith, i played theater sports and led some theater workshops. i like painting and sketching and know some frisbee shots, which i´d always like to improve or learn playing the pois or devil sticks :)
also i´m good in making and reparing dreadlocks, cutting hair or braiding...

i always like to give and receive massage and combine this with reiki. i´m initiated to second grade in reiki :D

apart from that i do yoga and meditation and gave yoga lessons for children (11-17 years).
