ABOUT ME
The best way to learn about me is through the eyes of others -- Have a look at my references below!
------
Current and past travels:
Aug 2018 - Sept 2019: 4 months in Africa, 3 in Brazil/Columbia, and 3 in Vietnam and India. Bought motorcycles in Vietnam and Madagascar and toured each country for 6 weeks-- Simple Incredible!
March 2013: In Boston for 6+ months to take part in the TechStars entrepreneurial accelerador program for my start-up!
February 2013: I brought my Dad to Brazil to see the Carnaval parade for his 70th birthday! Two and a half weeks in Rio, Iguassu Falls, Salvador and Fortaleza! :D
November 2012: South India, and then 5 days in Ireland!
February 2012: Living and loving Brazil!!! I maxed out my 6 month visa, then went to Uruguay and Argentina for a month.
July 2011: La vie française! Living in beautiful Paris for two months
July 2010: Rocking out in Scandinavia. After Roskilde, I biked from Copenhagen to Stockholm. Now it's time for beautiful Iceland.
June-August 2009: Southeast Asia, here I come!!!
October 2008: Back in Cali, and moved into Oakland! My couch is available!
September 2008: I'm on a road trip--but this time I'll be picking up hitchhikers instead of relying on my thumb to get me places. Like many travelers, I've been to a lot of countries, but hardly know the precious corners of my own vast land. Pacific Northwest, here I come! My rough itinerary: the Oregon Coast, including the sand dunes, Portland!, the Columbia river gorge, Seattle, Olympic Nat'l Park, Victoria, Vancouver, and whatever lies between.
In 2007, I went on a 7 month hitchhiking, trainhopping and couchsurfing adventure beginning in my hometown of Ukiah, California, stretching 19,000 km down to Bolivia, and surfing 65 couches.
