Hey! I'm from Wuppertal, it's quite near to Düsseldorf, where I study communication design. Currently I'm studying for one semester in Strasbourg and going to make an interrail tour through France, Spain and Portugal. I love to travel and sometimes I should kick myself in my ass to travel more and find the time for that (and of course the money). My best travel experience I ever had was a journey to New York over christmas and New Year. I stayed with my family in Long Island in a really nice house. The owner was an older woman, who was actually a German, but she emigrated 20 years ago. It was really interesting, especially that she wrote her own book about her emigrant experience. I also went surfing ( not couchsurfing )for the first time and I'm a absolute beginner, I hope I can improve my "non-skills" this summer and will get one wave. Please just one...
