About Me

Graduated last summer, now doing a one year volunteer and travel journey through Europe. I can be quite curious and interested about basically everything. Growing up my family was hosting exchange students, which taught me openness and how to share space comfortably.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First and foremost Couchsurfing is about the exchange it enables me to have. This way traveling in my opinion is much more enjoyable. I want to meet locals, get to know new ways of living, and create genuine connections while traveling. I shamefully have to admit another advantage is that I’m traveling on a tight budget, so this way I can save a little.
Would love to host myself, but have to wait until I return from my journey and see then.

Interests

I enjoy life. There’s so much to know and to explore and to think about. But what it really comes down to for me is impacting this world for the better as much as I can, so as many people as possible can benefit from me. Except for that I (obviously) like traveling and nature, reading stuff that educates me, as well as watching good movies and series. I’m interested in Politics, history and society as a whole and appreciate conversations that allow different perspectives. I also enjoy cooking, staying active, hiking, football and much more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love hip-hop and pop, but open to many genres. Dune, Inception and Black Swan are great, love every movie that leaves me traumatized and rethinking life. Sons of Anarchy is a great series, goes far deeper than the violent/action rich surface you see at the start. When it comes to books I can recommend Utopia for Realists by Rutger Bregman and Doughnut Economics by Kate Raworth, both really interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My roadtrip through west and south Norway may be the most amazing and unique traveling experience I had so far! Can’t criticize anything, except the prices maybe 💀

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share stories from my travels, talk about different cultures, and exchange thoughts about life, society, and personal goals. I’m always happy to learn from people and listen to their experiences and viewpoints.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m respectful, clean, and reliable (sometimes even funny). If you need my help with anything, don’t worry I like being useful and helpful. I always treat my host’s home as if it’s my own.

Countries I’ve Visited
