My background is in tourism, specifically hotel marketing with Sheraton in the Asia Pacific region. I also managed a hotel in Sanur, Bali and was the marketing manager for a spa, restaurant, yoga center and wellness healing haven in Ubud, Bali.

I have always wanted to teach, so completed a CELTA course in Cape Town South Africa. I have been working at a private English language school in Cambodia for 6 years teaching teenagers and young adults.

I live in a two bedroom apartment with three cats. I cycle to the school everyday.

People are mostly amazed by my sense of adventure. I am not hesitant to just move to a new place on my own. I enjoy travelling with other people, but am not afraid to just travel to a new place on my own.
