Overview
About Me
I am living with my small family (2 kids, born in 2013 and 2016) in a flat in Kiel-Wik, close to the sea and next to the Holstein-Stadion.
Kiel has been my hometown by choice for the last 20+ years - with some travels and times of living abroad in between. I love my work as an independant consultant, working with a big variety of different clients, SMEs, corporates, NGOs, educational institutions etc. And even more than my work, I love my kids :-).
During the week, I am normally quite busy working, and on week-ends its family-time. So don't expect me to be your personal tour-guide and show you around. But if you are happy to join our family routine we will be happy to meet you! At home, we generally communicate in German but are all fluent in Spanish as well (my kids father is form Peru), and additionally I speak English, French and Portuguese, and my kids are learning French and English now. And we all like sing and to play music!

Interests
A burning question that drives me: how can we create a future that meets the needs of all people within the means of the living planet? I am an active member of the "Economy for the common good"-Movement (www.ecogood.org) in the Kiel Region (gemeinwohl-kiel.de) and as chairwoman of "Freunde ohne Grenzen e.V." engaged in educational projects in Latin America. Apart from this: I love sailing and other outdoor activities, am always keen on getting to know other people and cultures on a deep level and I like beeing surprised by other "normalities". And I love listening to and dancing Salsa - even if I am not very good at it...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There have been so many amazing moments in my life!
I have been and like to be amazed by 'simple' things - like a sunset, a beautiful landscape, an unexpected smile, meeting very special persons, a special song in the right environment... Life luckily never stops to surprise me. And as Antoine the Saint-Exupery puts it: "L'essentiel, nous ne savons pas le prévoir. Chacun de nous a connu les joies les plus chaudes là où rien ne les promettait."
