I am currently a graduate student of George Washington University. I majored accounting in School of Business. The program is only 2 years so I really wanted to make good use of the winter and summer break to travel around United States.

I am an easy-going girl and always willing to offer help to those in need. I worked as a volunteer for Singapore Red Cross Society for half a year during my undergraduate study and never stop community service thereafter. Now I volunteered for Ashoka, a big non-profit company aiming to provide financial support for people with innovative ideas to bring changes to the world.

I like traveling. It's such an amazing experience to appreciate the world. I really enjoy meeting people with different culture backgrounds, professions and interests and my contact with them always allows me to build a more realistic and comprehensive picture of the world outside my country. Couchsurfing is a great way to make friends during the trip.

I like reading and writing. I am also a big fan of movie and cartoon. Sometimes I spend all day along in the theater trying to finish watching all the movies I am interested about. My dream is to travel around the world and write a novel based on the stories happened during my journey.

I have worked for almost 1 year in East Africa in 2013. I worked as a relationship manager for a Pan-Africa commercial bank and represented the group to develop market in several African countries such as Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. It's an amazing experience to appreciation Africa and meet people of different color to me. The people I met during my trip became my life-long friends.

I am a native Chinese speaker and a fan of Asian culture. I am now self-studying Japanese language and culture, trying to be a three language literature translator (Chinese, English and Japanese).
