About Me

I'm a coffee snob that hates coffee snobs & a single malt scotch fan who foolishly believes he can change the world.
I probably ramble on too much about nonsense and exaggerate for the sake of the story.
I hate the poison of religion and what it's done to humanity. There is no liberation without truth.
I hate what colonialism has done to the world, and want our children to live in a world where nobody is privileged because of their race, gender or sexual orientation.
I'm proud to call myself a feminist, and you should be too. I think some people find me intimidating because I'm pretty outspoken about what I believe. But who cares. Wear your heart on your sleeve or fade into the grey and accept your white picket fence mediocrity.
I don't trust banks & I hate Wall street types, or anyone that makes money through being a cunt to other people and the earth.
I love hanging out and cooking meals with friends and finding out about people doing positive things with their lives to help out animals or people who've had a shitty turn at life so far. I love adventures, either physically or philosophically. I love a lot of different types of music like Bathory, Venom, Negative Approach, Spazz, Iron Lung, Tom Waits, Laura Nyro, Lauren Hill, Iron Maiden, The Skatalites, Wu Tang Clan, Biggie & Old Crow Medicine Show (Basically all the dope shit).

I write words about stuff and things quite often, but I certainly don't write them as well as this -

The only position that leaves me with no cognitive dissonance is atheism. It is not a creed. Death is certain, replacing both the siren-song of Paradise and the dread of Hell. Life on this earth, with all its mystery and beauty and pain, is then to be lived far more intensely: we stumble and get up, we are sad, confident, insecure, feel loneliness and joy and love. There is nothing more; but I want nothing more.

- Ayaan Hirsi Ali

Dear sisters and brothers, the so-called world of adults may understand it, but we children don't. Why is it that countries which we call "strong" are so powerful in creating wars but are so weak in bringing peace?

- Malala Yousafzai

We should do away with the absolutely specious notion that everybody has to earn a living. It is a fact today that one in ten thousand of us can make a technological breakthrough capable of supporting all the rest. The youth of today are absolutely right in recognizing this nonsense of earning a living. We keep inventing jobs because of this false idea that everybody has to be employed at some kind of drudgery because, according to Malthusian Darwinian theory he must justify his right to exist. So we have inspectors of inspectors and people making instruments for inspectors to inspect inspectors. The true business of people should be to go back to school and think about whatever it was they were thinking about before somebody came along and told them they had to earn a living.

- Buckminster Fuller

Music is the best means we have of digesting time.

- W.H. Auden

no faces

no faces at all

laughing at nothing–

let me tell you

I have drunk in skid row rooms with

imbecile winos

whose cause was better

whose eyes still held some light

whose voices retained some sensibility,

and when the morning came

we were sick but not ill,

poor but not deluded,

and we stretched in our beds and rose

in the late afternoons

like millionaires.

- Bukowski

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Speed boating through the mangroves in Far Eastern Papua New Guinea as the sun rose, with a drunk speedboat captain, in a leaky speedboat..
