ABOUT ME I grew up in southern California where I dabbled in everything from Tae Kwon Do, cheerleading, Girl Scouts, soccer and surfing. From there I went to Boston, MA to study Hispanic Language & Literature, Women's Studies, and Religion at Boston University. After college, I lived in Madrid, Spain for two years where I taught English through the Spanish Ministry of Education. I returned home to Long Beach, CA for a few years before embarking on Remote Year. I now live in Mexico City and love it! PHILOSOPHY Love, peace, and equality.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have always been an unofficial member of Couch Surfing, letting friends of friends crash on my couch in Madrid. Now I've made that status official and hope to be able to crash on new couches in return!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Going to see Las Fallas in Valencia. It was an incredible experience! Watching a huge structure burn right in front of me while drinking and dancing was amazing! Zip-lining in the jungle in Guanacaste, Costa Rica with my family was an exhilarating and sometimes scary experience. The views were beautiful and the adrenaline was quite intense!
