ABOUT ME

Well, about me then: Friendly and easy-going - good with people and computers - introverted as well as outgoing - I like making jokes and talk about everything, while trying to make the people around me feel as comfortable as possible. My parents come from croatia, so I grew up in Germany having two languages and cultures - but that was always a benefit for me. It helps me understand different cultures more easily.

I recently started my career as a Software Developer, who actually wants to be a User Interface Designer. I work 4 days a week so I have time for my interests, which are performing and teaching improvisation theatre and singing and composing. To relax I enjoy reading fantasy literature, go to the Sauna or practice Tai-Chi. In music I prefer Metal in all its form, Rock and Massive Attack (who qualify as a genre of their own)

PHILOSOPHY

I like things that advance human civilization and prevents it from falling back in medieval times. These things for me are being interested in the world around you, culture, creativity, relationships, responsibility, technology and critical thinking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me and my girlfriend frequently host people in our flat in Stuttgart. This year we want to travel Scotland and meet some Couchsurfers there.

I play the electric guitar and have played in a couple of bands - two years ago I decided to become a singer and enjoyed some training for rock/metal voice. I formed a new band with a couple of friends just recently. Whether I'm any good, you be the judge :)

My second hobby I have been pursuing over the years is improvisation theatre aka Theatre Sports. I formed my own group 4 years ago at the university, where i teach beginners the basics of improvisation. We have a lot of fun and frequently perform in front of an audience.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Had a school rockband that toured at three venues in Romania when I was around 18. We were quite bad, but the people were going crazy after us. I'll never forget it.

I can teach you guitar, singing and foosball basics as well as coding Java, Actionscript3 and html/css/javascript. I can also tell you about improvisation theatre. I like to learn about cooking, acting singing, whisky, martial arts and much more.

And practising my English of course ^^
