I live in Central London and you are welcome to send me a couch request. I receive many requests, and I can only host a limited number of people. I tend to choose:

a) People who re-invite me to their own country. Don't worry, there is no obligation on your side to host me at your place (!) but I would expect you to be friendly to me if I happen to be in your area, maybe show me around.

b) People who give me an idea of what kind of person they are, for example, what you do in life (field of work/study?), where do you normally live? And, if your profile is new and empty, send me your facebook link so I have a feeling about you.

c) People older than 20!

If you already wrote me a message without (a) and (b), just write again accordingly so I know that it is worth hosting you.

I have two different jobs. Party organiser/table host for high-end clubs in London. Scientist for a biotech company.

I live very central, right in the heart of London. 10 minutes walk to Hyde park, Notting Hill, Little Venice, Kensington Palace (where some of the Royals live).

(*) Things I appreciate from my guests:

1) A balance between being independent and having some quality time together. You are welcome to be by yourself and I will probably be tired after work, but please keep in mind the sharing aspect of couchsurfing.

2) Join me if I invite you to go out to a bar, or with my friends. And if you don't have time because you are busy visiting your favourite places maybe we could go there together?

3) In case you want to bring me presents, I like culinary specialities, food or drinks. But there is no obligation, don't worry :-)

4) Remember: last-minute cancellations can be a problem for me. If I "promise" to host you, I will organise my days based on it and I will decline other couchusurfers who ask me to stay. So, if I accept to host you, please take it seriously.
