About Me

I've got a great thing going-- a job I adore that allows me to travel & do good in the world, a healthy body, fantastic husband, wonderful friends and family, a myriad of challenges that keep me humble and happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It opened up my world years ago and taught me about trusting people. If it weren't for the fact that I have young kids and a baby on the way, I'd still be hosting.

Although I can't host, and am not surfing any longer, I hope I can be a resource for those visiting Salt Lake. Pay it forward & help folks have a good time in this rad state.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in the Arizona desert with just a canteen, knife, tarp and map for weeks at a time. I starved eating just juniper berries, spent most my day trying to start a fire, and froze at night until I couldn't take it anymore. Nonetheless, it was still amazing. I highly recommend it.
