Hey everyone! My name is Luca. I come from a very small Italian mountain town called Aosta, but after a couple of adventurous years around Europe, I finally landed in Denmark back in 2015, and now I've been living in Copenhagen since 2019. I love talking about all kinds of interesting stuff, having a few beers and/or a nice scotch, house parties, hiking, visiting cities, going to concerts, jamming: pretty much all sort of relaxed, funny and inspiring things! Non smoker. BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST, make sure you carefully read the "My Home" section and mention it in your message. I will not consider requests that fail to do this.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Because for me "to travel" means also to know the people living in the place I'm visiting. I want to hear from them what the world looks like from where they live, I want to eat what they eat, drink what they drink, hang out where they hang out.
Music, Movies, and Books
Most of what I listen to is metal or metal-adjacent, but then again, metal has a billion sub genres and sub-sub genres, so that still includes a lot of very different things. I am mostly into Death, Thrash, Heavy, Grindcore, Groove, some proggy stuff (especially if instrumental), some post- stuff, and some -core stuff. I also like punk, punk rock, and crust, and some occasional 70s-inspired rock, Bluegrass, Folk, and Synthwave. In general, I love to dig for new bands and discover new sounds and genres! I have a very wide taste when it comes to movies: I love sci-fi (Alien, The Thing, the first Matrix, the old Star Wars etc), some Tarantino, documentaries, westerns, dramas, adventure, historical, comedies. I've always been into adult animation stuff like Futurama, Beavis & Butthead, Drawn Together, Metalocalypse, and Rick & Morty, but I think my two favorite ones are South Park and Bojack Horseman. I of course like sci-fi series as well, both modern, particularly Black Mirror, and classics such as Star Trek TNG and DS9. Also, I loved The Office and Parks and Recreation. Unsurprisingly, I love sci-fi(-ish) literature, with my favorite authors being Isaac Asimov, Ursula Le Guin, Octavia Butler, Ray Bradbury, Arthur Clarke, and Cixin Liu. I also like the more mature comics, such as Akira, V for Vendetta, and the stuff from Zerocalcare, and I absolutely adored Watchmen and Maus. As far as non-fiction, I enjoy reading about philosophy and the social sciences.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I defeated a Japanese girl in a chopsticks challenge.
What I Can Share With Hosts
Some nice Italian cooking / language skills, that's for sure, and other than that, I'd say a lot of curiosity and the will to create a super nice atmosphere to enjoy together!
