I would describe myself as easy going, fun to be around and as a tidy, uncomplicated guest. I’m really into outdoor related activities like hiking or bike tours and love playing basketball. On the other hand, I also enjoy an evening of interesting conversations/discussions or board games.

Currently I´m studying psychology in Osnabrueck (a town in the west of Germany) and will be finishing my bachelor’s degree next year. Until the end of this year I will study abroad in the United States, specifically at the UNCW in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was travelling with a friend in Azerbaijan and in a small town in the mountains, where we found ourselves completely lost, with no one around speaking English. My friend found somebody on Couchsurfing who could help us in no time. We met spontaneously and he showed us all around town. Experiencing such kindness and hospitality made me promise myself to join the couchsurfing community as well.

Listening to a broad range of music. A lot of rock and alternative music, new and old.

I'm really love going to the movies and often visit the Sneak Preview with a few friends. To name just a few of my recent favorites:
Arrival, Prisoners, Manchester by the sea, Creed, Blade Runner 2049, Creed, Moonlight.
I still got a big watchlist and am in constant search for new/old suggestions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once made a one-day bike tour from Hamburg to Berlin (190mi), the arrival and especially the day after were really rewarding.
Another memorable experience for me was hiking and swimming through a canyon in Nicaragua, where I jumped from high cliffs into the water.

I will show you the best ways to swear in German, preferably during card games, which I could also teach you a few of.

I could give you some tips, based on your taste in movies and expand your watchlist.
I am also alright at repairing bicycles :D
