CURRENT MISSION Explore and learn ABOUT ME Born and raised in Hawaii, currently living in NYC. I love the outdoors, exploring new places, meeting new people, and making friends everywhere I go. I love to eat and I consider myself really adventurous. I'll do/eat anything at least once. I'm laid back, open-minded, easy-going, down-to-earth, and very respectful and clean. I can easily entertain myself. I'm very low-maintenance. PHILOSOPHY you usually end up regretting the things you didn't do as oppose to the things you did do sooo ... why not?

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Someone suggested it to me as a great way to meet locals in the countries I will be traveling and to meet people from other parts of the world visiting NYC. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I've hosted numerous people in NYC and I've been guests to amazingly generous people. I always bring little gifts from home for my hosts :)
Music, Movies, and Books
music: anything ranging from hawaiian to reggae to country to hip hop to pop to enya to classic rock to rock. the occasional house music and rap. movies: comedies, rom-coms, mystery, adventure forrest gump, dumb and dumber, catch me if you can, the notebook, something borrowed, love actually, all the indiana jones (but not particularly the 4th one) books: dr. seuss, nicholas sparks, the hardy boys, nancy drew, harry potter, the fault in our stars ... not a particularly huge book reader
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Oohhh I can only name one thing? :o( My friends and I did a 3 day, 3 night scuba diving live aboard in the Great Barrier reef in Australia. Best experience of my life and I would totally do it again!

I'm from Hawaii and I've lived in NYC for the past 13 yrs, so I can tell you what those places are like. Ask me anything, I'm an open book. I can teach you about Hawaiian foods. I like to learn about the culture, food, people, and history of the places I visit. I also like to hear people's stories and adventures.

I can cook food from Hawaii and the US. I usually bring goodies from Hawaii, if I pack correctly :)
