I live and work in Los Angeles, but luckily have a flexible enough job that I can travel 20% of the year. I literally can't get enough.

When I'm not traveling, I'm probably doing some kind of random and fun activity with my 7 roommates (yes, you heard me—it's a crazy, chaotic, lovable madhouse)! As an example, we build a pretty substantial fort in our house each year (epicforts.com). I love cooking and would be happy to cook you a meal, whether it's at my house or yours. I am also pretty up for helping with a house project if you are in the middle of one—I'm pretty handy with a drill or an electric sander.

I live with quite a few people and wouldn't give up the friendly atmosphere for the world. I love when new people are brought into the house, and also love sharing secret tips about my own city with new travelers. I haven't yet hosted an official couch surfer, but I think it's time :)

I love doing pretty random things—I'll build things out of wood I find in an alley, make fun things out of paper mache (my blog: surpriseaholic.com), host a murder mystery dinner, or make you a really intensive treasure hunt.
