Hi there!! My name is Luisa, I'm 22 years old and I'm proudly to be COLOMBIANA :) Like everyone else here I love to travel!! It started when I took a year out from college to be an Au Pair in Washington DC, USA. During the year of 2014-2015 I spent my little payment on traveling, I visited 11 states and went 1 week to Mexico for the first time.

I went back home, graduated from college (2016), I'm now a Forestry Engineer but what can I say? The travel bug bite me really hard.. I met my boyfriend (Juancho, you can see him on my profile picture) during our college years (we both have the same profession) and since we've been together we've traveled a lot inside Colombia. Now, we want to be part of the CouchSurfing world by traveling together in the U.S. Our 2017 goal is to go and live in New Zealand for at least 1 year, and of course.. keep traveling the world together.

I'm very adventurous and I like to take new challenges every now and then, I'm always up for new experiences that takes me out my comfort zone.

I gotta admit that I can afford paying an hostel or AirBnB but it's not the same at all!! I don't wanna be a tourist, I wanna be a traveler... I wanna get to know people who share the same interest as me (traveling for starters), who can show me around and talk and laugh and share!!

兴趣

I'm a Forestry Engineer so my interests goes around nature & wildlife, I love to take long walks in the forest/jungle/beach/mangrove lol anywhere that I can breathe pure air. I love traveling and getting lost in airports/citys/trains/subways, which happens frequently, lol!!

I also like cooking, and since my boyfriend is a vegetarian I'm trying new recipes very often!

I love languages! I love listening to foreign people talking about things that I don't understand at all, but of course.. I like it more when I can understand so I'm still trying to get around english but learning my way through french!

This past year I've read about 100 books that includes romance, Sci-Fi, dystopia, adventure, thriller, suspense, and many many others! I read everything.

I'm more of an tv-show addict, I've watched so many Netflix shows this year that I'm looking for recommendations while the new season of GOT starts.

I can always teach my language (Spanish), share some recipes from my country and since I'm a talker and I'm trying to have my way around languages, practicing by telling our travel stories would be on the table. Also, my boyfriend is really good at geography, so you challenge him and the loser gets to pay for the drinks ;)
