About Me

I am a day-time guy. I like walking, bicycling, buying groceries at fresh food markets, gardening, discover my city, its streets and buildings... Unfortunately during the week I don't have much time for this, but I'm working on it.

When I go out at night I prefer to watch a play or a music show and maybe go to a cafe or a quiet place to talk with my friends. But stay at home talking, playing, cooking and eating is usually more fun.

Night clubs, pubs and crowded places are not my cup of tea at all.

It's really hard to describe it in a box of a webpage. But I'd like to share some thoughts that I am fond of

Suppose you had the revolution you are talking and dreaming about. Suppose your side won, and you had the kind of society you wanted. How would you live, you personally, in that society? Start living that way now! Whatever you would do then, do it now. When you run up against obstacles, people, or things that won't let you live that way, then begin to think about how to get over or around or under that obstacle, or how to push it out of the way, and your politics will be concrete and practical.

A inevitabilidade não prescinde o dever
(Inevitability does not release you from doing the right thing)

Deixa o cara
(let it be)

Só porque algo não aconteceu não quer dizer que não é verdade
(Only because something didn't happen, it doesn't mean it isn't true)

Se algo vale a pena ser feito, vale a pena ser feito imperfeito
(If something is worth doing then something is worth doing poorly)

If you do not change direction, you may end up where you headed

And a few things in which I believe: Ubuntu and Aikido Philosophy

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a host
Even if I don't have a couch available at the time, I can:

1. Show the city (some places that might be interesting)
2. Give information about the city and nearby locations
3. Share a few things I like about Brazil (music, films, recipes, places etc...)
4. Arrange small gatherings at my place
5. Take you to play soccer with my friends (usually mon, wed, fri)
6. Take you to visit or practice Aikido in the dojo where I train
7. Set up some board game matches

As a surfer
1. Give all information necessary about me to let my host comfortable
2. Leave the couch as I found
3. Interfere (or not, that's up to you) with my host daily routine
4. Show my gratitude towards my host

Very positive so far.I already met people from various cities in Brazil, from other countries and lots of CSers from Curitiba. Every now and them, we have some gatherings at my place to eat, play, talk and listen to brazilian music. Hosted
