Overview
About Me
In short: calm but confident guy, doing ethics related research, heavy metal and cocktail enthusiast, prefer outdoor raves to clubs and debates to podcasts
My availability to host depends on my job's volatile workloads. Sometimes I simply won't have time for guests or can only decide on short notice, but I'll try my best to answer as soon as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet you!
Whether you are open to get a drink, some sightseeing, or hosting, I'm grateful for the time you share.
I could put way more info into this profile, yet part of the appeal in CS (at least for me) is to get to know strangers - we may not share interests or disagree in all sorts of ways, but we have the chance to explore different views and perspectives. Getting to know each other does not work through only viewing an online profile. Also: Copy and paste requests are perfectly fine, just have some info in your profile :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge music lover with a wide interest in various genres (mainly heavier, guitar based stuff). Collecting CDs/LPs, visiting concerts/festivals regularly, playing a bit guitar and working as stagehand some years.
Some names: Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Diana Krall, BB King, Opeth, Haim, Dire Straits, Kyuss, Parov Stelar, Antonin Dvorak, My Baby, Megadeth, Stereo MCs, Savatage...
Not really a cineast. The lower the budget, the better the horror movie. I do like Collateral and Margin Call.
Books: Mostly nonfiction and English classics - only if I'm not reading too much work related stuff. One of my all time faves: The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald.
Let's not forget about videogames! The Witcher 3 is a masterpiece! On the rare occasion I find time to play I mostly enjoy story-driven games with intriguing settings and well-written characters. And atmospheric horror stuff.
