About Me

My mission is to give youths the ability & skills to use music and technology to better their lives.

#WARNING# - I Leave Glasgow on 4th September 2014 to live in Cornwall, all requests to Glasgow after this date will be declined with no reason!

"A finger in every pie"

. . . . . . . . To be active in many things & try new things.

. . . . . . . . . This old saying originated by kitchen visitors who couldn't resist testing the food by sticking a finger into it, and licking said finger.

_ _ _

Hmm.... errr.... Well...

...as the saying goes i like to try new things. I also come from the land of pie's. Just outside of Melton Mowbray in fact! For a proper pie go there, it takes four days to make one!

I'd also say i'm like a box of British broken biscuits! As i like a lot of things, and i am a variety of things bundled into one. Though sadly my memory isn't the best so i'm a bit broken!

I like being happy, open minded, and having a positive outlook on life.
I like to listen, laugh and make people feel good about themselves.
I like to smile, kiss and hug people too!

I'm a young English man, i enjoy experiencing new things, particularly food, i enjoy tasting new things.
I like to explore and see what made a place and what makes the place what it is today.
The present is just as important to me as is the history. I like to take pictures and capture my memories.
I also love music, and love it more when i play with people and make music by accident with no fear of playing a "wrong" note.

I believe i am polite, welcoming, sensible and silly.

It may say i'm staying in Arbroath or Rutherglen. It may say i'm from some other town or city, but i assure you this is incorrect, i in fact live in Glasgow.

As i have struggled through my early years of life, i couldn't of got to where i am without all the support people gave me. That is why i believe in helping others, particularly people who want to make their lives better but don't have the equipment & skills and through my work i try to provide that for them.
I particularly empathize with people with learning difficulties and make a point of trying to offer alternative learning methods, usually more practical so they are more more effective, empowering and follows their interests.

Smile.... it'll make you feel good inside and it'll make me smile too!
Hug... hugs, warm you up and apparently make you live longer!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I'm mainly a hoster, this is due to my full time job, but when i do get time off, i like to explore scotland and if i'm lucky overseas

So far i have Couchsurfed with lovely guests in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Melton, Oakham, Porto, Madrid & Rio.
This i hope to expand.

My only request, on hosting you is:
I'd like a picture of 'you' and me, so i can add it to my album to remind me of good times!

In the words of Mark Twain:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.

Explore. Dream. Discover."

I have hosted some fantastic surfers and enjoy spicing up my evenings with someone new to talk too and learning new things.

Here are all the couchsurfers that have stayed at mine:

Here is a brief overview of what glasgow has to offer:

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Helped a young disabled girl move her leg which she was unable to do before.

Made a dream become a reality for an old man, that had never had a holiday, as he had worked all of his life.

First blow job. lol
Found a secret island that you could only get to during the spring when the tide went low enough for you to walk along a underwater path.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a Teacher:
I could talk about dementia and similar mental illnesses or the importance of community arts working with minority groups in society and how much it is needed to help the generations before/after us.
I'd like to tell them about england & scotland and share experiences. I will teach you whatever interests you.

As a Student:
I'm willing to learn about other peoples views on all topics and interested in religion, particularly less popular ones or anything other than Christianity.
I would like to learn your language & culture.
