HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy socializing and believe it's fun to learn and share experiences with others. At my home, I teach English to children, providing them with the chance to learn the language, just like other fortunate kids. To inspire and motivate them, I often invite English-speaking guests to join our classes.

If you have free time, you're welcome to play or learn tennis, adding an active and enjoyable touch to your stay. You can also relax, write, or plan your programs at a cozy coffee corner I run with friends, offering a creative and friendly atmosphere.

For those interested in learning Indonesian, I can help facilitate the process. You’re welcome to visit my language center to discuss with colleagues or explore the library. You can also learn informally at home with me or my friends. With my experience teaching Indonesian, I can make the learning process smooth and enjoyable.

Additionally, I often invite guests to join traditional ceremonies or local activities, providing a unique opportunity to experience the culture and cuisine of Jambi.

I offer surfers the opportunity to engage in interactive English classes with students from diverse age groups and economic backgrounds. This not only enhances their teaching experience but also provides valuable cultural exchanges. Additionally, I introduce them to the rich and exotic traditions of Jambi, such as cultural ceremonies for weddings, baby showers, and more, along with the unique flavors of traditional Jambi cuisine.

Surfers can also explore the city's historical treasures, like the ancient Muaro Jambi temple complex, as well as enjoy the breathtaking natural landscapes in the area. To make their stay even more enjoyable, I often invite surfers to participate in fun activities such as playing badminton, tennis, or swimming, adding a touch of recreation to their cultural experience.

In addition to providing rooms with various facilities (bed, table, bathroom, towels, and air conditioning), I also invite surfers to interact with my students, visit some of the interesting spots around Jambi, and indulge in the delightful local culinary experiences the city has to offer.
