​De vuelta por la comunidad después de un tiempo desconectado. Esta vez, la aventura es compartida con mi esposo, Ricardo, quien se estrena en el mundo de Couchsurfing conmigo.

​Somos un equipo con ritmos distintos que se complementan muy bien:

Ricardo es de los que disfruta la pausa, un buen descanso y esos momentos de calma frente a una piscina o un paisaje relajado.

​Por mi parte, soy el lado más activo; me encanta salir, conocer gente nueva y exprimir el día con experiencias y caminatas.

​A pesar de nuestras diferencias, hemos encontrado un buen balance. A ambos nos apasiona probar sabores nuevos, explorar lugares auténticos y, sobre todo, conectar con personas.

​Actualmente vivimos en Lima y, aunque nuestro ritmo de viaje cambió un poco post-pandemia, nos encanta seguir compartiendo historias con otros viajeros.

Fui un miembro muy activo de CS antes de la pandemia y guardo recuerdos increíbles de esa época.

Aunque después de esos años mi ritmo de vida y de viaje cambió, no quiero perder esa esencia de conocer gente nueva. He hecho grandes amigos y construido historias geniales a través de esta app, y ahora que viajo en pareja, me hace mucha ilusión seguir compartiendo esas "vibras" y buena onda con otros surfers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

En su momento, dejé mi trabajo y lo vendí todo para viajar y vivir fuera; fue una de las mejores decisiones de mi vida. Otra experiencia que nunca olvidaré fue recorrer Islandia en auto durante una semana con tres desconocidos y terminé ganando un gran amigo.

​He aprendido que no importa tanto el "dónde" o el "qué", sino con quién compartes el camino. Para mí, las experiencias más increíbles siempre involucran conectar con las personas, ya sea compartiendo una comida, unas risas o simplemente una buena charla.

At one point, I quit my job and sold everything to travel and live abroad—it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Another unforgettable experience was a 7-day road trip through Iceland with three strangers and ended up having one great new friend.

​I’ve learned that it doesn’t really matter where you are or what you’re doing; the most incredible experiences involve sharing with others—whether it’s food, laughs, or just a good conversation.
