CURRENT TRAVEL PLANS

I will arrive at Tobago on 2nd of February 2015, will stay there for a week to settle in. Then I want to dive into the carnival craziness from the 8th or 9th of February on. I’m happy about every offer and any little spot for me to stay and for people to hang out with for the carnival.
After TNT I will be on and around St. Lucia for 2 weeks and from there I will travel how the wind blows. For sure on the list Puerto Rico, DR, Jamaica, Cuba. Happy about everybody who wants to join me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on CS (probably like everybody else) because I love travelling and want to experience amazing countries including their amazing people. Culture, the people and how they live are the most important things for me. I want to meet locals and hang out with them. And that’s why I think, CS is the best way to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC is VERY important to me. Music influences me a lot in my decision of where to travel.
When I travelled through Peru and Bolivia I loved the Cumbia that you could hear everywhere. The Tango in Argentina even though it was mostly for the tourists. Well, and when I got to Brazil … nothing could hold me. When I hear the drums in the streets or elsewhere … I can’t hold it … I get totally exited and restless. I need to go outside and dance.
When I heard from the Carnival in Trinidad years ago, I knew I had to go. So finally I’m going. Which means I like Soca and Calypso too.
I love all of the Latin music, Reggae, Dancehall, Soul, Blues, Funk, Jazz, African (old and new like Azonto, Kuduro etc.), Balkan and also Classic.

Movies and Books are nice :P

The most amazing thing I’ve done travel wise was my journey through South Amerika.

What I Can Share with Hosts

could share knowledge about different things:
farming and farm animals, horses etc. - grew up on a farm
live in Berlin - Germanys best city :P
know how to cook traditional German food - would love to cook for my hosts and everybody
