CURRENT MISSION Learn everything about everywhere ABOUT ME I prefer to spend my time writing stories, planning plans, and helping folks at the Center for Social Innovation (socialinnovation.ca - check it out!) - but mostly I make drinks for rich people, so that I can make enough money to pay them rent. I also run a group called The Wheelhouse, dedicated to breaking down barriers of accessibility for people in marginalized groups.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I walked to the very edge of Kaieteur Falls in Guyana, which is 4 times higher than Niagara Falls, and looked down. (It's high.) I read a personal account of social anxiety in front of several hundred strangers in a city I'd never been to before. (It went really well!) I sat on a glacier in the Rocky Mountains. (It was cold... but not as cold as you'd think.)
My Interests
*Writing! I write a lot of fiction, in various states of (in)completion. A few things persist on the internet or in crude, hand-made zines. If I'm travelling, it's probably to a zine fair! *Planning! I'm not even kidding about this, I will take even the faintest invitation to make an elaborate plan. I think I'm good at it. I plan to be good at it. *Learning! I love hunting down obscure knowledge. I took Swahili once. I will talk to you about things you didn't even know could possibly take this long to talk about. *Volunteering! This is probably the reason I'm perpetually short on cash, but there is a purity of experience in helping a good cause for no other reason than because you can. I end up at a lot of film festivals, for whatever reason.
