Music, Movies, and Books
My music taste is all over the board. I am always to down to see live music or be introduced to something new, classical acoustic electronic punk whatever. Almost nothing is off-limits.
Looking at my recently played, its got Fleetwood Mac, Courtney Barnett, Frank Ocean, Action Bronson, a Motown compilation album, D'Angelo, the Dixie Chicks, the cure, Gogol Bordello, Kaytranada, Nicolas Jaar, Mykki Blanco and Cocorosie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was part of a club in college called the "Carnivore Club" that would put on the catering for huge events, smoking whole pigs, or a few hundred pounds of brisket, ribs, chicken, etc. My buddy had a huge smoker built and the first many events we prepared everything on a whim, making it up as we went along until we got good at prepping whole hogs and building fires. We would wake up at 5 in the morning and take shifts throughout the day, eventually feeding hundreds of students the final product. A few times it was just me and two other girls, both who weighed less than the pig in question, working in the dark with headlamps and -20 degree weather. At the end of the day we always smelled like smoke and meat, but we got the satisfaction of a beautiful and delicious final product.
Teach, Learn, Share
Lets talk about music, or sandwiches, or sports or queer theory or nothing at all. (My mom used to turn the radio off when she didn't like my music and tell me "silence is golden" so I am also good at being quiet)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy to cook, clean your kitchen, pat dogs on the head, do your heavy lifting, trade music, and ride bikes together. please don't ask me for help if there is a big spider on the wall though.
