ABOUT ME

I'm a single mom to Jordan, 19 years old and Jonah, 9 years old. We live in Chicago, IL in a low income neighborhood. We like traveling together, games, movies, swimming, and playing outside. We have a big dog named Chaos, a Great Dane. When we couchsurf, we like to either cook a meal for our host, take our host out to eat, or find some other way to concretely express our appreciation. When hosting, we appreciate this reciprocity as well, and love seeing the variety of kindnesses CS'ers offer!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to connect with others when I travel, and host them when they want to see Chicago.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My son and I spent two weeks couchsurfing in France, it was so awesome. I wish we had this 15 years ago! Since then, we've hosted several couchsurfers and have found that fun as well. We also couchsurfed in Middletown, CT with an amazingly awesome host!

We went by train to Vancouver (46 hrs each way!), where we saw a two day old baby beluga whale that had been born at the aquarium during our visit!
