ABOUT ME

I am a stage, documentary and street photographer and work/worked for the Staatstheater Schwerin and several theaters and opera houses in Hamburg and Berlin.

But I also have a crush on the east. Last year I went for a photo essay to Kyrgyzstan and next year I would like to do the same in Moldavia

I have lived in four countries and I very much like to talk to, be with and shoot (take photos of) people of any culture, religion or nation.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I moved back from Berlin to Schwerin in October 2017. Originally I am from Hamburg but also lived in Madrid (Spain), Brighton (UK) and San Jose (USA). I know how it is like to be in a foreign city and how much more fun it is to have somebody to help you to find the interesting places instaed of running with the crowd. I like CS because it demonstrates international spirit and offers a way to overcome national bounderies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted and was hosted several times. And in June 2012 I initiated an international photo project: 365-international which breathes the cs spirit.

80 photographers from 50 countries take a photo each day for 365 days and add the title headline of a national paper.
