ABOUT ME

After my studies (in community work and cultural management) I decided to travel to New Zealand (first it was to improve my English ... but finaly it was a lot more than that). Since I've started travelling, I realised that I just love it and I want to travel more and more ! For discovering new countries, new people, new cultures, new landscapes, ... I just want to enjoy the present life with other people. So I guess i am otpimist and enthusiast, happy, and a bit adventurous !

PHILOSOPHY

Just try to stay all the time optimistic, live and enjoy the present life, and share it the most possible with other people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2012, I have one experience on Couchsurfing in Carol and Greg house near Gisborne (New Zealand). Awesome family, awesome table tennis match, and awesome time spent there !
In 2013, we met with other couchsurfers in Angers (France) for a very good picnic !
Since 2014, with my flatmate, we have hosted people who come in Saint-Nazaire (France) for various thing : to finish 'la Loire à vélo" (cycling along the Loire river), to do a circus training, to see the sea, or just to travel ... Each time it was great time sharing our travel stories, couchsurfing and life experience !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on a beach in New Zealand talking with 2 germans and a kiwi guy comes and start to talk with us, very friendly. He left and an hour after he came back with beers for us and he asked us if we had a place for the night (we had a van each) and he said : "come to our house, you can have shower, internet, ... and tomorrow we can go fishing together". Amasing ! And we have been fishing and took a fish we ate for breakfast and we discover the beach with this awesome guy. Best first memory of my New Zeland trip !

Another travel in England, road trip in bike, quite the same happened to me. I was riding a bike in April and it was 9pm, we (a friend and i) can't find a campsite, we were in a national park, deseperate and we arrived to a place with 1 hotel, 1 pub and 4 houses. The hotel was very expensive, the pub have no room and we knock to the first house, lot of people, not enought space for us but they told us, we should try nextdoor. We try next door ! A guy with 2 hudge dogs. And he said : no problem come in, and after, we can go to the pub and he offered us a drink each and we played snooker with him ! Awesome moment too !
