Hello, travellers of the world! I'm Magda and I'm a full time DIYer :D I live in Athens since 2012 and I love it. I hope you will like it too-I'll do my best as a hostess at least :) Cheers! NOTE: Unfortunately, I can't accept any guests on 10-13 March because of other guests in our house and then 18-28 March, because i will be traveling myself.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
The more houses on offer, the more people will be travelling! Also, international friends. It's a win-win situation :)
Music, Movies, and Books
Just a tiny bit of my favorites would be: 1)Swing music, the Beatles -old is gold-, Pentatonix, Arctic monkeys, C.W.Stoneking, Ella Fitzgerald, indie stuff 2)Everything really, from serious history stuff to silly rom-coms and of course Disney. Just no American Pies, thank you very much. 3)Books, yes, all of them, anytime. Can't really pick favourites here.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I once made chocolate chip pancakes- best day ever!
Teach, Learn, Share
I will gladly offer tips on living in Athens as a student, and generally answer any question i can about Greece and greek culture. I come from Crete, so if you are intersted in local traditions, i'm the one for you! Also, I'm happy to share everything I know about anything DIY and you'll probably get something handmade from me as well. I can talk endlessly about movies and series too, if you let me (maybe you shouldn't). Unfortunatelly, my Uni scedule is pretty busy so I won't always be able to show you around myself. If it is possible though,I'm more than happy to spend time with you :) :)
What I Can Share With Hosts
I want to say I'm good in the kitchen and can cook traditional greek food for you, although you may or may not be taking a risk letting me in there. I will gladly share information about Greece, and of course anything to do with DIY and architecture :)
My Interests
anything to do with art and creation -sewing/drawing/crafting/cooking/architecture ofc/you name it- definately interests me :) Also, the usual, music, movies, walks, talking a looot, volunteering, travelling, camping. My latest discovery is spoken word poetry. I don't write poems myself (yet) but I've found that listening to people reciting their poems is very calming and charming. And of course whatever else new and exciting comes my way!
