I have 2 reasons: For me Couchsurfing is different than hostels: i can learn more the culture and history of the place from the hosts. But also the life style and parties. Another benefit is that I practice different languages with hosts and guests, it's amazing the exgange that you can make. Of course, there is the money reason. I would like to travel for seveeal months so i need to be carefull with my money.
