ABOUT ME

Hello people from the world I'm Maia, I'm originally from Venezuela, and I'm studying art in Brooklyn, NY.
After 2 years of eternal summer I started school.
Those last two years I traveled with this Australian guy around Europe, that's when I started using couchsurfing.
My last couchsurfing trip was roadtripping and camping through the west coast. This summer I would love to travel a lot.
I love music, going to shows, riding bikes, laughing, hanging out with strangers and wakin up in different places of the world.
I think there is this thing like "travelers luck". Maybe you know exactly what i mean, but when travelers expose themselves to their most vulnerable side, when they're ready to show they're fragility to the world, that's when other traveler soul rescues them from the road.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So there was this time when we stayed in Poland for a week in 2 different cities because of some couchsurfers we met in Barcelona, and after that we started using couchsurfing,. I've stayed with no more than 10 people, I think.

I've hosted two girls here in brooklyn and they were really amazing, I showed them around and we went to see Parquet Courts, a band that I really like.

Occasionally I attend CS meet-ups, if they're like a music event or something.
I like going to shows.

This summer I was rescued by Gemma and Mat from Las Vegas, two couchsurfers that were roadtripping the west coast. These days were the best days of my life, almost.
