I've been a host, actually I received 6 different guest, one didn't post an opinion, second one deleted his profile. Anyway, being part of the COUCHSURFING community as host or surfer has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
I've met people from different countries, I'm truly thanked to the hosts who opened their home to us.
