I've chosen to break free from the traditional hotel stays I experienced with my family in the past. 🏨👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Instead, I've embraced couchsurfing, which grants me the incredible opportunity to connect with authentic locals and gain firsthand insights into their culture. 🛋️🌍

However, I'm young and thrifty by nature, so the added bonus of saving money makes couchsurfing the ideal choice for my adventurous spirit. 😄💰

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I embarked on a thrilling journey to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. 🌍🗻 The adventure was filled with highs and lows, both in terms of altitude and my physical condition.

As I ascended, my excitement mingled with fatigue and sickness. 😫 But the higher I climbed, the more awe-inspiring the scenery became. 🌄 It was a constant battle between the breathtaking views and the urge to collapse from exhaustion.

The altitude made me feel like a robot, my brain pushing my weary body to keep moving forward. 🤖 My experienced guide noticed my struggle, and despite my sickness, he allowed me to continue due to my unwavering determination. 💪

Six challenging days later, I reached the Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters. It felt like I was on top of the world. 🙌❄️ Going from scorching 30-degree heat to -5°C was a drastic shift, but coming from Germany, I was accustomed to such temperature changes. 🇩🇪❄️

My Kilimanjaro journey taught me that with the right mindset and determination, we can conquer even the most daunting challenges. 🌟🏔️💪
