I will be back in Aachen in October, but won't be able to host till then ... Hey I am Malaika! I would describe myself as curious, always in a good mood and energetic. Born in Germany, I've grown up in a multicultural patchwork family, lived in different countries, always surrounded by people from all over the world. So since I moved back to a rather small German town for University I use my free time to travel. Art is a big part of my life, it keeps me balanced after a long day of engineering classes :D. So I draw/ paint and write alot.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I spontaniously booked a flight alone to the U.S for this entire March 2017. Travel really does change a person, it broadens one's horizon and you get to know other lifestyles, and views on things. I wanted to leave California, having met people that actually live in the cities that I visit, exchange travel ideas and experience cultural differences, get inspired and mostly - laugh and have a great time! So I thought: "why not? Let's give it a try!" And since then I've CS hasn't disappointed me!

Indie, HipHop, Soul, RnB, Classical (used to play the piano), Reggae Dub, Deep House/ Tech House I loved reading The Girls, Americanah and Das Parfum/Perfume favourite audibook: Le Petit Prince/The Little Prince - it's just a beautiful story
One Amazing Thing I've Done
On a rainy day I decided that I am tired of the grey clouds and two hours later I had bought a ticket to Thailand. Didn't. Regret. One. Bit!
