CURRENT MISSION To welcome Newcomers to the greatest city in the world and building lasting friendships along the way. ABOUT ME I am a recent college graduate. I have not traveled very much up to this point for reasons beyond my control. Now I am free and ready to see the world. I am a free spirit and like to go with the flow. I am not a big planner. I like to have the start and finish planned and everything in the middle will just fall into place. I am funny with a hint of sarcasm but it is always in good fun. I like to participate in sport. I have done everything from basketball to rowing and fencing. PHILOSOPHY Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
