ABOUT ME

I'm easy going and love experiencing new things! I love the outdoors and living in a city is slightly killing me right now; however, I do love design so cities are fun for me to explore. My main goal right now is to explore and learn all about different cultures and people :-)I was fortunate enough to be hired as an English teacher in South Korea for a year and that experience has only made me want to travel more. After Korea I hopped around a bit then landed in Australia where I stayed on a working holiday visa for 9 months! The things you can learn from those around you is never ending especially when you're away from your home/community. I never want to stop exploring and learning about different cultures and people!
Lived in New Zealand for 9 months back in 2013 and have now settled a bit back in the US. Lived in Moab, UT for 2 years building Straw bale homes and now in Colorado doing the same work!

In a bit of a transition period right now and back on the East coast of the US. Can't host but would love to meet up.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I only heard of couchsurfing once I started traveling so I have only surfed but I hope to soon be able to give back by being a host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had positive couchsurfing experiences! Since I've joined I have only been traveling so I have never been able to host but I am excited for the time when I'll get to show somebody around my neck of the woods!

Intereses

I have interests in all things Art. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a creative community as well as home and I am forever grateful for that. I'm also a big fan of being environmentally friendly whether it be through recycling, conserving energy, or going as far as my future plans of living partially or completely off the grid! Love hiking, playing any sport, and just plan being active. Big fan of relaxing as well and can spend hours just hanging out with friends or reading a good book :-)
