I'm currently living in Quito, Ecuador and I'm about to move back to the City of Chicago. I go for the name of Manis, which for most Americans is easier to pronounce than Mariana.
I been in USA for the last four years of my life, I've always been shy and quiet, but there are days where I let life brush me to become more open with the people who surrounds me- I don't want to blame the Asperger's I have. But I guess in a way is ok to let people know is there, inside me, keeping me good company.

I love laying on the floor and stare at the ceiling and just think about nothing in specific, I like making meals for people who don't have food, I like helping people I guess that's why I became a personal caretaker.

I was able to diconstruct myself into a more conscious being. And I keep doing it until this day. I've become more aware of people who are in need, of my position as a woman in the world and my privilege.
