I just graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Advertising and will be heading to New York City for a job pretty soon. I'm a very easy-going guy and enjoy getting to meet lots of different personalities.

I love food. Austin, TX has a big food truck culture that has exploded in the last couple of years and has led to (food) trailer parks to open up around town. Nothing would make me happier than to show up to a new trailer park with a 6 pack, great friends, and an empty stomach.

I love music. I look forward to setting up 1-2 hours a week for music discovery. I had no idea music festivals existed until I started college 4 years ago and have been to Austin City Limits and SXSW every year since then. It is my goal to go to every major music festival within the next couple of years.

I love technology. I do a little bit of web design and development on the side. One of the things I look forward to the most every year are the presentations given by thought leaders on emerging technology and digital creativity at the SXSW Interactive festival.

I also do a little bit of photography on the side.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had no idea CouchSurfing existed until a couple of weeks ago. A friend and I decided not to study abroad and instead make a trip to Europe for a couple of weeks early next year so I'm super excited to have come across this site.
