Hi! I’m María, a medical doctor from Buenos Aires.
I’m currently doing my specialization in Psychiatry.
Recently I discovered how much I enjoy traveling and connecting with people from different cultures. It’s something that feels quite new to me, and I’m embracing it with curiosity and openness.
This year I’ll be spending part of my time living in Europe, moving between different places and experiencing them slowly — beyond tourism, through everyday life, conversations, walks, food and shared moments.
I’m a curious and reflective person. I love literature (especially classics), music, nature, and long conversations about life, culture and psychology. I value calm environments, authenticity and people who are open-minded and emotionally aware.
Spanish is my native language. I speak English well, some Italian, and I’m currently learning Russian because I enjoy the language and its culture. I’m also learning some Swedish, since I’ll be living in Sweden for part of this year.
I joined Couchsurfing because I appreciate genuine cultural exchange. For me it’s about meeting interesting people, sharing perspectives and sometimes simply spending a quiet evening talking about life.
I’m independent, respectful and easygoing, and I appreciate the same in others.

I live in Buenos Aires, in Palermo neighborhood, just a short walk from the Bulnes station on subway line D
My apartment is small, but it's full of warmth. I offer a sofa bed in the living room.
