I have a little bit of a complex story. I was born in Germany, went to Kindergarten for a little bit while there, then lived in Guatemala until the age of 16. After the age of 16, I moved to the US and have been living here ever since. I am going to be graduating very soon, and would love to meet new people, that can help me have a more positive mindset, and inspire me to become a more authentic person. I look forward to getting to know you! ๐ ๐ฌ๐น๐ฉ๐ช๐บ๐ธ

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
Iโm finishing my university studies very soon. Iโm entering a very relevant transitional state in my life. ๐๐ซ I want to meet mew people that can help me better explore my interests and my identity. I think that it is fair to say that everyone in their 20s experiences an identity crisis at some point haha. Iโm a very open book when it comes to things like this. I recently have started to come out of the closet, which sometimes is more challenging than youโd expect. To an extent, it could even be a risk for me to share this here, but Iโm willing to take that risk. Iโm sure that the best way in getting to know myself, is by getting to know other people. :-)
Music, Movies, and Books
I used to mainly like oldies, edm, and alternative rock. However, the transitioning state that Iโm in, makes me want to discover other types of music and songs Iโve never heard before. ๐ถ
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I donโt tell people this to people I meet in person that often, butโฆ About 2 years ago, I started making videos on TikTok. Somehow, I have been able to build a following of 64K+ followers. ๐ TikTok: @marcelkirst_
Teach, Learn, Share
I can gladly teach you some Spanish. :-) ๐ช๐ธ Despite English and German being also languages that I speak. To this day, Iโm still able to speak Spanish the best. On that note, we can also speak German, or English. ;) ๐ฌ๐ง๐ฉ๐ช
What I Can Share With Hosts
I find that I tend to be a very open book when it comes to interacting with people from different countries. There are a bunch of stories that I can share from my experiences while I lived in Guatemala, my experiences while living here in the US, and my experiences visiting Germany. All the best, Marcel ๐ค
