Overview
About Me
I'm a vegetarian and non-smoking physician (medical doctor) from Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. After finishing my studies and graduating in 2019, I served as a lieutenant in the healthcare corps of the Brazilian Army in my hometown. From 2023 to 2025 I lived in my state's capital city, Porto Alegre, where I moved to enroll in a family medicine residency program. I'm now partially back to my hometown, though I also work at a clinic in a beach town near Porto Alegre. I'm normally always available to help fellow couchsurfers, even at times when I can't host for any reason (which is unfortunately most of my time at this moment, as I'm always moving between cities). Message me and we'll see what can be done!

George Orwell, JD Salinger, Machado de Assis, Daniel Handler, Khaled Hosseini... and mostly mainstream movies and basically any kind of music depending on the situation.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Iguaçu Falls between Brazil and Paraguay; Puerto Madero in Buenos Aires; the Erzgebirge in Sachsen, Germany; the Walled City of Jerusalem; the Hagia Sophia, in Istambul; climbing to the top of the dome of the Basilica of St. Peter, in the Vatican City; watching The Marriage of Figaro at the Sydney Opera House; hiking through all of the shrines on Mt. Inari in Kyoto.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always nice to find people to chat in German or Spanish. In exchange I can help with Portuguese or English.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm very talkative (and rarely run out of topics to discuss) and love to help with anything that might not be fun to do alone. Also, provided that I have the materials (aka yerba mate), I can make some chimarrão.
