About Me
Food and Travel lover. Willing to meet new people and exchange experiences! I love getting in touch with new cultures and learning new ways of thinking. Couchsurfing sounds like a perfect plan for that! I'm currently quite busy at work but if i have the chance I always try to hang out with my guests.
If you wanna know more about me:
I'm Italian, I've lived in Empoli until I was 18, then I moved to Rome to study Economics. I then moved to Copenhagen for 2 years where I studied Environmental and Natural Resource Economics. In between, some shorter periods in Brussels and Bonn for some cool-but-useless internships :) then some real job in Poland and Sweden. At some point I got very bored about my overworking, so I quit and travelled through Brazil, Argentina and Chile for 4 months. Currently living and working in Empoli!
That said, I like talking about environmental issues and politics, but remember that I'm Italian so I have no idea about what "politically correct" means: be ready to fight :)
I love geography and I like to discuss about places and local habits. I'm the kind of guy that, after asking you "where are you from?" wants to see right away on Google Maps where your hometown is located in the world. I'm also the kind of guy who, when was a little kid, was bringing the world map to the loo to read it while enjoying "one of the three pleasures of life" 😜
I don't like taboos or imposed restrictions. I trust on people so I appreciate a lot when I'm given trust since from the beginning.
I'm a travel maniac, as many of us here, I guess 🙂 if we meet I'm sure we'll have a lot of trips to talk about. I'll always thank my parents for having brought me with them while travelling, since from when I was very little: I'm sure that the imprinting and inputs given to a kid by being in a different environment it's better than any school of this world.
I believe I'm a very easy-going guy, I appreciate flexibility and try to be flexible myself. I try to always adapt to the manners and habits of other people. Adaptation is my current mantra ✌️ it's the only way to live in a crowded world.
On top of these kinda-pretentious things I just wrote, I can tell you that I'm a very normal person. I play and follow football, sports in general (skiing on top of everything, then hiking). I can't stay for more than 3 hours without doing something and I'd go out every night of my week. I've an inner engine that allows me to be (almost) always fresh. Very unhealthy but quite useful 😅 I love beer (IPA is my queen) and into wine (AIS sommelier level 2)
Ask me anything else, if you feel like!
Ciao! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was realizing how much I was missing the "international touch" that I've always had before in my studies. Couchsurfing sounded like a good idea to tie new relations with people from all around the world. And, who knows, maybe in the future get a spot on a couch in exchange :)
