About Me

I will most likely say no to every couch request that is copy and paste (won't even respond to messages that aren't couch requests). Please take the time to get to know your hosts, read their profiles and try to connect with them. I can host 1-2 days depending on how busy I am with work and since I live with 13 other people I have to vouch for you so we'll also expect a few references.

Maximize on opportunities! Just do ittttttt.

I've only recently discovered this addiction. I'm addicted to new experiences. Well... it's more like, the things I've always wanted to do, I've gotten over talking about wanting to do them and just going out to do them.

It's never been more clear to me, this phrase - "Why not?"

Some of the things I've gotten to try for the first time recently:
- Train with the circus
- Pole dance
- Stand up comedy
- Write and perform a song
- Learn UI/UX Design
- Learn iOS Development
- Learn Russian
- Travel (Taiwan, UK, China, Australia, Japan, and South Korea coming up)

What I'm most proud of, is the fact that these are things that I've stuck with. I've found that each of these new experiences have given me so much happiness, knowledge, and a story to tell.

I have no idea if this list will grow. All I know is that I'm still addicted.

Everyone has a story to tell.

Life is all about perspective.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't like to define my life with one amazing feat but rather a collection of consistently doing really cool things :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I constantly seek to improve several important aspects of my life so that I can claim enough competency to share it with others.

Physical awareness: I dance semi-professionally and having gained proficiency in many dance styles (popping, hip hop, break dancing, house, salsa, and pole dancing) I've begun to share my knowledge and experience by hosting classes.

Mind/self awareness: relationships are important to me and to fully understand my relationships with other people i've had to obtain a considerable amount of self awareness. Understanding why I react the way I do or make the decisions that I do - is it a product of my pre-programmed mind influenced by my upbringing and social constructs? How does that affect the people around me? I think about these things a lot and consequently talk to a lot of people about these things.

Creating experiences: Technology is an incredible tool that helps me actualize ideas in my head. I build at home, at hackathons, with friends, and at work. It's my career passion because there's nothing more fulfilling than watching people find magic in the things you create.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I usually bring gifts from work (which can't be acquired anywhere else). I also enjoy cooking, teaching dance, and sharing my own experiences.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, China, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom
