Hi ! We are Maurice and Margo, a couple of young travellers. We live in France and after our exams, we are going to travel the world for a year, from September 2023. We want to explore and meet as many people as possible. We love animals and all sorts of sport. I (Maurice) am fluent in English and French. My parents are both English and so, I have grown up in an English speaking household all my life but have only ever been to school in France. My parents (Margo), on the other hand, are both French but have both lived in Australia and in England, so are also fluent. I am not fluent myself but I do have a decent level of English and I am very eager to learn any new skills as well as English.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We are backpacking around the world for the first time and would love to meet as many people as possible. Couchsurfing would help us do just that, as well as getting closer to the local culture. And to be honest, it would also help us save money on accomodation, but is not our number one motivation.

We read quite a lot. We have both read a bunch of books surrounding the Holocaust. We read a lot of thrillers, especially Guillaume Musso, a french author. Margo also reads a lot of romance, especially Colleen Hoover.

We went to Italy and England together last year with our families. It was fabulous and the what made us want to travel the world, even further.

We very much enjoy speaking with people. We could share our knowledge about France and the language. Maurice could happily talk for hours on end about all sorts of sport; the same goes for Margo with animals, cooking, sewing and just about anything. We would love to learn the ins and outs about your local cuisine and in the same way would love to teach you all about the french cuisine.
