CURRENT MISSION be comfortable, creature. ABOUT ME UPDATE: I am a massage therapist and yoga teacher on a small river cruise in the PNW. Life is crazy. I sort of live in Albuquerque also.. It's where I call home. I crave a strong and healthy sense of community trust and dependence, which is a large part of why I moved here from New York. In Albuquerque I work at the Ayurvedic Institute and am very interested in systems of holistic health. My life is not composed in a very linear way, but I'm glad that my interests push and pull my life directions quite organically. PHILOSOPHY I mean, like, nothing is standstill and nothing is abstract. The wings of a butterfly cannot take flight. The foot on my neck is part af a body. The song that i sing is part of an echo. What is left? -Assata Shakur

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couchsurfing here and there in the past, some really wonderful hosting in Binghamton NY and now Albuquerque.. I should really make a journal of all the great folks that I've had the pleasure of hosting!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
Grown a garden. Isn't growing your own food the wildest miracle?! And best couchsurfing coincidence: I ran into a former Hungarian surfer from my house in New York at a hostel in Malaysia, 4 years later. Crazy!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach and share cooking, yoga, gardening, playing tennis, life stories, music, and introductory concepts to Ayurveda. And I always share bottles of wine. I'm currently learning spanish, so any practice with that is welcomed. But the best part of this is that I don't really know what I'm going to learn and share until it gets down to it, right?
My Interests
Music, kale, bike touring, planting roots, potlucks with great friends, art (I do linoleum printing and silkscreening), holistic healthcare and intersections of health, community, food, and environment, starting to play mandolin, actually playing tennis, being a part of community resilience and autonomy, making you a peanut butter pie, Food not Bombs, having local and personal control over my daily life.
