What I Can Share with Hosts

Although many years ago I created my account in couch surfing, I have never used it until now.
This time I will be visiting the city of Los Angeles during August and above all I would like to be able to contact local people to get to know a more authentic and real side of the city.
In 2018 I visited LA and stayed in hostels but I feel that I had a very touristic experience and I would like to visit in a different way this time.
I will be working from 6am to 2pm M-F but I would like to be able to do something sometime in the afternoon.
