Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have been doing solo travelling for a couple of years and I love meeting locals and living like a local in the places I visit. I think couchsurfing will help me understand better the local culture and the people, and help me meet new friends from all over the world.
Music, Movies, and Books
Love Jazz Music, but I also like Rap and Electronic Music. Some of my favorite movies: Once Upon a Time in America The Return Moonlight Blue Some of my favorite books: Siddharta The unbearable lightness of being On the Road
One Amazing Thing I've Done
This year I did with my family the crosscountry of Europe in a huge Camper. It was super interesting to radically change landscape, culture, language and food in one day. In my twenties I did twice the crosscountry of the United States and it was amazing, I visited the Grand Canyon, the National Parks and also the Native American reservations. After my second crosscountry I decided to move to New York to continue my studies and better understand and experience the American culture. After 7 years I decided to move back to Europe and I am very happy with my decision.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been teaching Filmmaking and Cinema History for over 25 years. I love teaching and mentoring Youth. I am good at stimulating people's potentials and help them summon up their courage to pursue their dreams. I am interested in meditation and alternative ways of living geared towards the creation of harmonious intentional communities based on sustainability and respect of cultural differences. I hope to continue learning new things and being surprised by life.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I would love to share my experience and the knowledge I have acquired in my full 53 years of life around the world. I can also share simple Italian dishes and my native language.
